About The Job
Should be specialize in different markets, and develop appropriate publishing strategies. Should have experience in sales and marketing, Budgeting, Copy/publishing rights, publicity, production, and editorials. Coordinate the direction of the publishing house’s business by communicating between working within an agreed business plan and financial forecast. The other major responsibilities are monitoring editorial quality, liaising with literary agents, encouraging authors, discussing contracts and schedules, predicting sales potentials, developing brand’s tactical marketing plans Etc.
Profile Of Ideal Candidate
Should be able to take responsibility for your own decisions. Should have extensive market knowledge of marketing, promotion and publishing strategies. Should be innovative and dynamic with good commercial awareness. Have the imagination to see new distribution prospects. have an understanding of budgeting and financial management. Driving Licence is a must and GCC experience will be an advantage.
